Mariya Agapova got up close and personal with Jessica Eye.
Ahead of their BKFC 76 clash Saturday in Forth Worth, Texas, Agapova and Eye faced off at the event’s ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday.
The smiling Agapova went face-to-face with Eye and after a brief staredown, Agapova leaned in to give Eye a quick kiss. Eye appeared annoyed by the uninvited gesture as she pushed Agapova away.

“That’s so weird,” Eye can be heard saying in the above clip. “So f*cking weird.”
When Agapova was asked for an explanation as to why she kissed Eye, she replied, “She just came too close.”
It was an odd move for Agapova, a fighter badly in need of a win. The former UFC flyweight is winless in her past six fights across MMA, boxing, and grappling, and seeks a fresh start in the world of bare-knuckle boxing.
The same could be said of Eye, a one-time UFC title challenger also on a six-fight skid (all in MMA contests). Eye has not fought since a loss to Maycee Barber at UFC 276 in July 2022, a result that marked her final octagon appearance.
BKFC 76 is headlined by a lightweight bout between Ben Bonner and Tony Soto. In the co-main event, UFC legend Andrei Arlovski makes his bare-knuckle boxing debut when he takes on Josh Copeland.
