Tabatha Ricci showed off “the art of eight limbs” in her latest win.
It was an expert Muay Thai strike that earned Ricci victory Saturday at UFC Abu Dhabi as she cracked Amanda Ribas with a nasty elbow en route to a knockout win. The hard hit to the face had Ribas wincing as she slumped down to the mat, leaving her open for Ricci to capitalize with ground-and-pound to seal the stoppage.

The bout between ranked strawweights was competitive throughout until Ricci began to pressure Ribas against the cage. Locked in a grappling stalemate, Ricci picked her shots, doing damage in close before landing the fateful elbow that potentially injured Ribas’ face.
It was an important win for Ricci, who was coming off of a decision loss to Yan Xiaonan. She has now won three of her past four fights.
Ribas, currently ranked in the top 15 of two divisions, suffers her third straight loss.
