Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev are all business heading into UFC 313.

Heading into the fourth defense of the light heavyweight title in Saturday’s main event, Pereira successfully made weight at Friday’s official weigh-ins, coming in at 205 pounds on the dot. Ankalaev hit the same weight, making their matchup official.

Pereira currently holds the No. 2 spot in the MMA Fighting Pound-for-Pound Rankings and Ankalaev looks to dethrone one of the UFC’s biggest stars when they meet in the octagon at T-Mobile Arena.

In the lightweight co-main event, Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev also successfully weighed in for their rematch with both coming in at 156 pounds (making use of the one-pound allowance for a non-title fight). The two first fought at UFC 286 in March 2023, when Gaethje came out on the winning end of a competitive majority decision.

Gaethje was originally scheduled to fight Dan Hooker on Saturday, but a hand injury forced Hooker out of the contest and he was replaced by Fiziev on 10 days’ notice.

All 24 fighters competing Saturday successfully made weight.
