This is the UFC 313 live blog for Amanda Lemos vs. Iasmin Lucindo, the main card strawweight fight Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Lemos is currently No. 6 at 115 pounds in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, with Lucindo one spot behind at No. 7.
A one-time UFC title challenger, Lemos (14-4-1) fights to hold her spot in the contender line after losing by second-round submission to Virna Jandiroba in a main event bout this past July. Lemos holds notable wins over Mackenzie Dern, Marina Rodriguez, Michelle Waterson, and Angela Hill, but at 37, could find herself relegated to gatekeeper status with another loss.
Lucindo (17-5) is coming off of the biggest win of her career, a split nod over Rodriguez at UFC 307. Just 23 years old with plenty of experience under her belt, Lucindo seeks to shake up the division with a more convincing performance against Lemos.
