Written by The Association of Town Finance Committees will hold free regional meetings on April 9 and 16.
A meeting on April 9, at the Flint Public Library in Middleton, will feature a presentation on credit and bond ratings and their impact on municipal finances. The meeting will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
The April 16 meeting, at the Hadley Council on Aging, will feature Division of Local Services Project Manager Jessica Ferry, who will give a “Budgeting 101” presentation and highlight the DLS’s services. The meeting will run from 5 to 7 p.m.
Both meetings will begin with light refreshments and networking.
All finance committee and capital planning committee members are invited to these meetings. There is no charge to attend, but registration is required.
