The Massachusetts Municipal Communicators will host a dynamic virtual roundtable on Oct. 30 from noon to 1:45 p.m.
The free meeting, open to MMC members, will feature peer-led discussions on three key areas of municipal communications:
• Community engagement: Strategies for building trust and participation across diverse audiences
• Graphic design and video: Tips and tools for creating compelling visual content on a budget
• Digital accessibility: Best practices for ensuring inclusive access to online information and services
The facilitators will be:
• Renan Pineheiro, webmaster and social media coordinator in Framingham
• Tyler Cote, community engagement specialist in Watertown
• Bridget Martin, Communications Director for the Department of Human Services in Cambridge
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from other communications officials on each of the three topics in 30-minute breakout rooms.
The meeting offers an opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and learn from fellow communicators across the Commonwealth — both for seasoned professionals and those just getting started.
This meeting is open only to MMC members, and advance registration is required.
