Neil Magny, the winningest fighter in the UFC welterweight division will return on Aug. 2 for a clash on the UFC Vegas 108 card, when he faces Elizeu Zaleski inside the UFC APEX.
Multiple people with knowledge of the situation confirmed the news to MMA Fighting.
UFC Vegas 108 will be headlined by flyweights Amir Albazi and Tatsuro Taira, airing live on ESPN+.
Magny (29-13) returns to action after seeing his planned UFC 318 bout with Gunnar Nelson pulled from the July 19 lineup. The experienced fighter, who turns 38 a day after the event, is looking to snap a two-fight losing skid against prospects Michael Morales and Carlos Prates.
Victorious in 22 of 34 octagon appearances dating back to 2012, “Haitian Sensation” also holds wins over a trio of former UFC champions in Robbie Lawler, Carlos Condit and Johny Hendricks.
Zaleski (25-9-1) will attempt to get back on track following a second-round TKO defeat to Chidi Njokuani in March 2025, four months after he finished short-notice replacement Zach Scroggin.
“Capoeira” was on a roll in the promotion with wins over Benoit Saint-Denis and Abubakar Nurmagomedov before a majority draw against Rinat Fakhretdinov led to his most recent 1-2 run inside the octagon.
