Mike Malott defended home soil at UFC 315 after he sent Charles Radtke packing with a vicious second-round knockout.
After spending the whole week taking shots at Canada, Radtke received quite a raucous reception when he walked to the octagon on Saturday night, Malott made him pay after he connected with a nasty left hook that sent Radtke crashing to the canvas early in the second round.
As soon as Radtke hit the ground, Malott unleashed a barrage of punches that finished the fight in jaw-dropping fashion. The end came at just 26 seconds in the second round after the Canadian crowd spent the majority of the fight shouting “f*ck you, Radtke.”

“You guys have no idea what this means to me,” Malott said about the win. “I can’t even express I am to represent you guys. This means the world to me.
“When it comes to defending this country in the octagon, know one thing Canada, I stand on guard for thee. It felt pretty good to land those follow up shots.”
Malott controlled the majority of the fight from start to finish, although Radtke did connect with a couple of shots but he never really got any rhythm going.
Instead it was Malott who was consistently connecting with the harder combinations as he kept finding a home for his punches while Radtke seemed to be a second behind him in a return.
The finishing sequence actually saw both fighters wing big shots but it was Malott’s left hook that landed clean on the jaw. A few more shots on the ground separated Radtke from consciousness as Malott jumped up to celebrate his win with the Canadian crowd.
The win moves Malott to 5-1 in the UFC but this performance might be the sweetest after hearing what his opponent had to say about Canada prior to the stunning knockout finish.
