Written by Armbar finishes don’t get much smoother than Brunno Ferreira’s at UFC 313.
In the second round of their middleweight bout Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Ferreira (13-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) decided to shoot in for a takedown against Armen Petrosyan. Ferreira secured it, dragged Petrosyan down, and quickly took his back. When he started to lose that position, though, Ferreira seamlessly transitioned to the armbar that quickly forced Petrosyan to tap out at the 4:27 mark of Round 2.

With the result “The Hulk” got back in the win column after suffering a submission loss to Abus Magomedov last October. Petrosyan (8-5 MMA, 3-4 UFC) continued a skid by losing his third fight in a row.
