Written by NEW YORK – MMA Junkie is on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC 309 fighter weigh-ins, which kick off at 9 a.m. ET (6 a.m. PT).
The early weigh-ins take place at the UFC host hotel in New York and precede the ceremonial weigh-ins for the fans, which take place at 5 p.m. ET at The Theater at MSG. The attached Madison Square Garden hosts Saturday’s event (pay-per-view, ESPNews/Hulu/FX, ESPN+) .
Among those weighing in are heavyweight champion Jon Jones (27-1 MMA, 21-1 UFC) and former champ Stipe Miocic (20-4 MMA, 14-4 UFC), who meet in the main event. In addition, former lightweight champ Charles Oliveira (34-10 MMA, 22-10 UFC) takes on Michael Chandler (23-8 MMA, 2-3 UFC) in the co-feature.
